Refund & cancellation policy

This policy explains when you can cancel a purchase from Speakify Global Language Center (“Speakify”) and get your money back. It applies to all courses and mock exams bought on learn.speakify.ca. It is part of our terms of use.

7-day refund on courses

You can cancel a course and receive a full refund if both of these are true:

  • You ask for the refund within 7 days of your payment, and
  • You have used no more than the first week of the course's lessons, and you have not started any mock exam included with the course.

After 7 days, or once you have gone beyond the first week or started a mock exam, the course is no longer refundable. You keep access until the end of your course access period.

Mock exams

  • A mock exam or mock pack can be refunded in full within 7 days of payment if you have not started any mock in that purchase.
  • Once you start a mock exam, that purchase is no longer refundable, because the test and its scoring are delivered to you immediately.

Always refunded

Whatever the timing, we refund you in full if:

  • You were charged twice for the same purchase,
  • You were charged but the purchase was not added to your account and we cannot fix it, or
  • A technical problem on our side stops you using what you paid for and we cannot resolve it.

Founding and discounted prices

Purchases made at a founding or other discounted price follow the same rules. The refund is the amount you actually paid.

How refunds are paid

  • We reply to refund requests within 3 working days.
  • Approved refunds go back to the card you paid with, through our payment provider Moyasar. Banks usually take 5–14 working days to show the refund on your statement.
  • When a refund is issued, access to that course or mock exam ends.

When we may cancel

If we have to cancel a course or a scheduled live class we cannot reschedule, we will offer you a refund for the part you could not use. We may refuse a refund where these terms have been broken, for example by sharing an account or copying course material.
